Palletising is one of BILA’s core competences within robot solutions. Generally speaking, we can palletise any product type – imagination is our limit! The use of robots in palletising results in increased efficiency, operational reliability, work environment focus and, above all: Uniformity. All forms of product palletising can be automated.
Often, there will be several options and more than one robot being used in a palletising solution. This will lead to a great number of fast-paced and very precise operations being conducted in a limited space. The robot’s tools can similarly be applied to several different processes such as handling of all types of pallets, separation sheets and various kinds of packaging materials.
One of the advantages offered by automated palletising, as already mentioned, is the uniform quality of the packed pallets. However, palletising also relieves employees of heavy, repetitive lifting. Monotonous, repetitive work – also referred to as MRW – is thereby avoided. This helps maintain the good health and well-being of our employees at their work place.
BILA A/S can deliver customised pallet solutions where everything is adapted to the specific production, including pallet magazines, sheet dispensers, pallet labelling, scales, pallet lines, film wrappers etc. Together with leading feed and food companies in Denmark, BILA has developed BILA FLEX, a series of standard palletising and depalletising cells. BILA FLEX is characterised by being module-based and space-saving, which makes it flexible, easy to adapt to any given production, and easy to install.
Bremnes Seashore has optimised its production because keeping up purely in terms of capacity turned out to be challenging. The principle remains the same as before, but their current facility is now extended and equipped with a robotic cell. The supply lines have been modernised, providing a larger buffer, increased capacity and greater flexibility.
